Invitational Method This is one of the easiest methods to use. It's easy to invite a friend to the park if their day off from school coincides with your group's park day. Invite a friend to a homeschool support group meeting. Invite your friend to a Moms' Night Out. Or better yet, just have a coffee break at the nearest coffee shop and talk one on one, answering their question. If there is a special speaker in your town? Then invite your friends who have been asking about homeschooling. One set of Moms are getting together to have a Curriculum Review. Several get together to show what books and materials they have used. Invite your prospective homeschooler to one of those meetings. She will note that most of the Moms who are making these decisions don't have teaching degrees, but they understand and know what their children need. If your support group has a heart for Homeschool, having a Library Night once a month is a great way to introduce homeschooling to new people. It takes 2 couples about thirty (30) hours a year total to have one of these.
