Big Reasons to Homeschool
Author hosting booth for National Ministry at Conference
Peoria, IL April 10, 2007 - This coming weekend's 18th
Annual Heart of Illinois Convention of Home Educators at the Peoria
Civic Center has attracted a stellar group of homeschooling experts,
including the Steve and Annie Chapman, holding a concert on Friday
evening, renowned author and speaker Diane Warring; along with Todd
Wilson, author of "Help! I'm Married to a Homeschooling Mom" and "The
Official Book of Homeschooling Cartoons".
While attendees will have many workshops and resources to choose from,
they should not overlook a prime resource in Booth 123 in the Exhibit
Hall. The national ministry Homeschooling Family to Family
(HFTF) will have a booth hosted by David and Kim d'Escoto, authors of
the best selling book "The Little Book of Big Reasons to Homeschool".
David and Kim will be offering advice and chocolate to all who stop by
to chat. David and Kim d'Escoto are the Illinois State Representatives
for HFTF.
Other workshops at the conference being held at the Peoria Civic Center
April 13 and 14, 2007, include: History Via The Scenic Route,
Twaddle-Free Math, Writing For The Real World, College Without
Compromise and Learning: A Breath-Taking View.
